TURNING POINT JUNIOR HIGH DAEP

2209 NORTH DAVIS DRIVE

ARLINGTON, TEXAS, 76012

The PAIS team has been an invaluable resource for our staff and students this past year. The team members came in once a week and worked with our behavior skills teachers and students in their classes. They quickly established a great rapport with our students and completed activities with the students to help them make good life choices. The activities were well received by staff as well as students. Our students looked forward to the PAIS team visit each week.

Often, the students would continue to discuss concepts taught by the PAIS team members during future classes. Some students who had not worked as well with the staff were able to open up and accept information from the PAIS team members. Each PAIS team member was unique, yet they worked well as teams. I feel that the PAIS team made wonderful progress and established rapport with some of our most difficult students. Our staff is hoping to continue to have this relationship with PAIS for years to come. Out students are very important to us and we strive to have the best interventions available for them. We consider the PAIS program to be a quality part of these interventions.

Sincerely,

Linda Williams, Principal
