Psychoneuroimmunology is the study of laughter.

Laughter is food for blood pressure, makes you look younger, it improves stamina, helps sleep, and strengthens the immune system. Having a sense of humor can add eight years to life. It helps in creativity, productivity and motivation. Studies say that 100 laughs equal 10 miles for the heart muscles. Laughter is a 10 times stronger pain killer then Morphine.



Let's take a look at what the Bible says about laughter and joy.

When ever the Bible talks about sorrow it always relates it to joy. Joy is to replace sorrow.

Sorrow means, worry, pain, anger, and grief. These things will break you and kill you.



Proverbs 15:13: A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

2 Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.



Oppression means, misery, sense of lose, guilt or remorse, deep disappointment





Isaiah 35:10 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return ⦠and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away





John 16:20 ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.



Psalm 107:39: When they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction and sorrow.



Our spirit is broken when we are sorrowful. Joy is the answer to sorrow and mourning.



Isaiah 61:3: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning,
