Lets look at the joy of the Lord from a very different angle. The Bible says wine is to make the heart glad. Can you see how God pulls it all together. God wants us to be joyful. The world gets drunk to forget problems and have a good time. That is a COPY of what God has for us. We are to get drunk in the Holy Spirit! Everything God has for us the devil copies and twist. let's discuss how wine in the natural makes a person laugh and the heart glad. It is a copy of the true laughter and joy, the Holy Spirit.

Proverbs 17:22: A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.

Proverbs 15:15: . . . he that is of a 1. merry heart hath a continual feast.

Ecclesiastes 10:19 2. A feast is made for laughter, and 3. wine makes life merry (The Holy Spirit baptism is associated with wine)

Act 2:15 These are not drunk as you suppose ⦠but this was what Joel prophesied

God wants us to laugh and be joyful. Vines (Jesus is the vine and we are the branches John 15:1-5)create grapes that make wine. The Holy Spirit is related to wine in the Bible. The Holy Spirit has joy and laughter. Communion is representative of wine.

Psalm 104:15: And wine that makes glad the heart of man . . .( wine is the worlds imitations of being filled with the Holy Spirit)

Ecc 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry:

Acts 2:1, 13, 15, & 16: And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost . . . . 13: Others mocking said, these men are full of new wine.( Luke 5:36 new wine for new wine skins so we could be filled with the Holy Spirit). 15: these are not drunken, as ye suppose⦠16: But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; . . .

Ephesians 5:16 & 18 understanding what the will of the Lord is.18: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

In this next scripture is shows us that our reaction to wine is SEEN.

Zechariah 10:7: . . . and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

Matthew 9, Mark 2, Luke 5: the new wine (Holy Spirit) is put into new wine skins (our born again spirit) That is what is happening in the next scripture. 1 Corinthians 6:19: . . . know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you

In the scripture above and below, both compare being filled with the Holy Spirit as having the appearance of being drunk on natural wine; however, the Holy Spirit is the new wine, Supernatural wine.

Tis has been experts from Ribbons new book.
