"Mighty to Save"... It's more than just a song!



Hey everyone, I wanted to check in from just getting in off the road. I'm so excited to share with you and let you know that so far, God has been doing something heavenly and amazing each and every night of Winter Jam 2009. A couple quick stories I wanted to share to give you a taste of what I mean...



When we were at WJ09 in Columbus, Ohio, a lady came up and talked to me at my merch table. She let me know that she had really been hoping to catch up with me in person for over two years. This lady told me that two years ago, she was a stripper and didn't know the first thing about living for Jesus. But, to the glory of God, a friend invited her to Winter Jam back in 2007, and right then and there at that event, she gave her life to the Lord. When I asked her about how it has been going ever since, she let me know that she now runs a ministry for strippers, and that Jesus has been working on so many lives of the lost through that and that through her ministry, many women are finding the Lord and getting out of that lifestyle. GO GOD!!



If that's not enough, another lady came up to me a couple nights ago in Little Rock, Arkansas. She let me know that two years ago, she was in a lesbian relationship and was not living at all for Jesus. Her mother, who was also living a life far apart from the Lord, had called her and let her know that she was going to be working as one of the EMT's (emergency medical technicians) at the WJ07 Little Rock show, and the mother asked her daughter if she wanted to go with her. At that show, BOTH of them gave their lives to Jesus. She told me that her life has never been the same, and right there at my table, she introduced me to her boyfriend. THANK YOU, JESUS! YOU ARE MIGHTY TO SAVE!
