SATAN'S KNOCK
Satan (THE TEMPTER) came knocking on my door (WHISPERING LIES to my mind) last year, AS HE DID WITH EVE in gen 3:1-4 and as he did with Jesus My Lord and all those who are born-again - to get them to try to sin (rebel) against God and prevent themselves from being rightly related to God, thus darkness-
he said being holy is a work
praying is a work
confessing is a work, repenting is a work,
reading your bible is a work
listening is a work
studying is a work, searching the scriptures is a work, obeying is a work, hating iniquity is a work. (the list was a bit bigger, that was just to give an idea)
so why bother doing them?? is this not trying to earn/keep your salvation?
so I told (resist the devil - cast down, pull down) the devil the truth (you can't just ignore these knocks you must address them)
it is true that works by themselves are just fleshly works (Phil 4:13), and works not done according to God's will are vain (1 Jn 5:14),
then I was reminded, and reminded Satan of in James (faith without works is dead) and Paul with fruits unto holiness and not serving sin (Rom 6),
2Co 10:2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

“Why should we believe in God?
Some people would say that God is only a crutch for people...well when you're a cripple a crutch is a good thing!
You are not guaranteed health, friends, wealth, a job, family, leisure time, or holidays in this life. Yet so many people strive to be happy with things that only rot or perish, can be stolen or damaged, broken and destroyed. People let you down, they stitch you up, hearts get broken and everybody dies in the end. What is the foundation of your life?
Jesus said " I will never leave you nor forsake you...I will be with you always even to the very end of the age " Matthew 28:20.
Put your trust in Jesus, He can help you get through life and you can have life to the full. Jesus never said it would be easy...follow Him, the rewards are out of this world!”

“Why should we believe in God?
Think about these several reasons why we should believe in God.
1. We see God in nature. Design demands a designer. Think about the vastness of the Universe, or the law and order within the tiny atom. The beauty of nature and the variety of species causes us to look up at Him. Has any one ever dug up a 5,000 year old sports car, or a rocket, or pen? (Romans 1:20).
2. We have a conscience which drives us to understand right from wrong. (Romans 2:14-15).
3. Think about Jesus Christ. He was more than a man, His character was unique, His miracles undeniable and His death and resurrection showed us that He is God.(John 1).
4. The Bible has hundreds of fulfilled prophecies. Jesus Himself fulfilled over 300 prophecies. Only a supernatural mind could have foretold so many events.
5. If there is no God, then our lives are meaningless. Mankind strives for meaning and purpose. We all have a large void in our lives that can only be filled by having a living relationship with God.”

“Struggling Being Alone?
What is everyone else doing whilst I sit here depressed and alone?
Loneliness that inner ache, may result from feelings of uselessness, purposelessness, and worthlessness. Many times it results from a crisis, a break up of a relationship, death of a loved one, or something else.
You do not have to stay that way! God wants to help you. 'Cast all you care upon Him because He cares for you'. 1 Peter 5:7.
You may feel pain for a long time; the supernatural testimony of "I was healed in a second" testimony is rare. It is right to grieve over loss, but you do not have to live feeling alone.
Jesus said "I will never leave you or forsake you". Meditate on that, and realise, God is with you however you feel. Then make a choice, I will move on. As one door closes, look to God to open a new one. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 says that there are times and seasons, this bad time won't last forever. Make practical choices; learn from this time and to move on.
1. Find a lively Christian youth group. Make a choice, "I will stay here and make friends, even if it is hard".
2. Find a hobby to keep you occupied whilst making new friends.
3. Be a friend to find a friend. Look for someone else who is lonely, be a friend to them! (Help someone else who is in your situation - you'll feel good, and it may solve your problems).
4. Don't fall for the devil's tricks and mess with the wrong crowd. You need people who will pull you up, not push you down.
Remember feeling sorry for yourself will achieve nothing! But when you decide to move on, you start to make a new life”

“Rejected by God?
God accepts you. God looks at your heart, not your performance. Jesus understands when we make mistakes because He was tested like us on the earth - yet never sinned, Hebrews 4:15.
God does not reject us because of our mistakes, He sent Jesus so we could be close to Him. God chooses the weak people on the earth, He really wants you and me, 1 Corinthians 1:27-29.
Jesus said in John three that whoever believes in Him will never be rejected. You do not need to be perfect to be accepted by God, all you need to do is come to Him, and you'll be accepted.”
