1 John 4:7

1John4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.1John4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;1John4:3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.1John4:4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.1John4:5 They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them.1John4:6 We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 1John4:8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.1John4:9 By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.1John4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.1John4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.1John4:12 No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.1John4:13 By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.1John4:14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.1John4:15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.1John4:16 We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.1John4:17 By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.1John4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.1John4:19 We love, because He first loved us.1John4:20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.1John4:21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

“During these past 2 days, I claim these words and hold them close to my heart- how proud we must be to call ourselves Christians and showcase our GOD, who teaches us to love and forgive and move on. Too many people have been killed by senseless shooters, following the advice of other religions or simple evil tendencies, how lost they are and how unfortunate for the lives of those that were shot in Orlando, FLA and Fort Hood. We MUST love one another, in words and in action- we must not be aggressors but redeemers of the Love that GOD gave to us- This is a wake up call for us all, to follow the lead of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and love one another despite and even in the presence of our own pain and fear- we must NOT take out our anger on others- we must not let our emotions control us- one moment of anger calls for years of anguish and pain... Lord I know times are hard- help us get through it as a human race- we are all your children- kill the spirit and bondage that faced Cain ”

“Jesus showed us God. We are to act the same way He did! If we see someone who needs healing give it to them. It is in the power of our hands, If we see someone without food or cloths we give it to them, because God prospers us so much we have to give to others. God is LOVE!”

“We need the Holy Spirit to walk in love the way Jesus did. He healed, delivered people and raised the dead. We need to be doing that to.People are full of fear and have no hope even Christians. We need to show them the love of Jesus.”

“Can anyone tell me of more verses like this?

I would love to find some others to have for a project of mine. I've wanted to give and surprise at the same time......

Wouldn't it be great to be a "Split Second Angel"? To show up one second with a blessing and dissapear in the crowd a second later? Wouldn't it be great that the reciever really needed such a blessing, especially if they had almost lost all hope? Wouldn't it be grand, if your actions brought that person to the Love of Christ?

We all need to reach out, especially in these times. I've heard of moments of charity that have moved me so much....that is why i wanted to start something of my own.

I wanted to decorate some envelopes and make some cards of hope to put in them.... then i would find ways to give to strangers. I would put suggestions like local radio stations or programs and sites and searches that would inspire and help them.

“1 Corinthians 13. When we are filled with the love of God we will display the love of God. How do we do this? By giving to the poor, forgiving someone who has wronged us, telling the truth. BEING GOD-LIKE IS LOVING and it is the greatest thing we can do to show our appreciation to Jesus Christ for what he has done for us. "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1Cor13:13) It is even greater than faith? I had to look extra hard at that scripture because I always thought faith was the biggest attribute... but it's love! What an awesome God. That He would want us to show love to one another more than faith to Him (although faith is still a big'n! lol) is amazing to me. Oh, that we would all love one another...”
