Give Me Neither Poverty nor Wealth

This is the reason why Solomon, made by God to be the wisest man in the world prayed: "give me neither poverty nor wealth." If we're too poor we might curse God; if we're too rich we might forget God because we don't feel we need Him. The Bible says, it's easier for the camel to pass through the needle than a rich man to be saved. When a rich man asked Jesus how he can be saved, His answer was: "Go and sell your posessions and give to the poor." Therefore, we can conclude that riches is a stumbling block to salvation.

“Maam, thank you for your post. What I will say about wealth is this: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 2.
When the world thinks of prosperity, well at least for what the average American thinks, its all the materialistic. People forget that having a family, health, even a job is wealth enough when compared to what others don't have. Lets not mention the food people had for Thanksgiving. Continue to be encouraged!”
