2 Corinthians 6:14
2Cor6:1 And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain--2Cor6:2 for He says, “AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU , AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU .” Behold, now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME ,” behold, now is “THE DAY OF SALVATION ”--2Cor6:3 giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited,2Cor6:4 but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God, in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,2Cor6:5 in beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger,2Cor6:6 in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love,2Cor6:7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left,2Cor6:8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true;2Cor6:9 as unknown yet well-known, as dying yet behold, we live; as punished yet not put to death,2Cor6:10 as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things.2Cor6:11 Our mouth has spoken freely to you, O Corinthians, our heart is opened wide.2Cor6:12 You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained in your own affections.2Cor6:13 Now in a like exchange--I speak as to children--open wide to us also.14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2Cor6:15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?2Cor6:16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM ; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD , AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE .2Cor6:17 “Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE ,” says the Lord. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN ; And I will welcome you.2Cor6:18 “And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty.

“I think this verse also applies to homosexuals and marriage. How can mix the "abomination" with holy matrimony? You can't. It doesn't work. ”

Barbara Kocher posted WE must be the LIGHT to the DARKNESS. (Oct 07, 2009)

“I do believe that we are not to be bound with the unsaved, but it is our job as disciples to go out and teach and reach unbelievers. We are the LIGHT and we are to do our best to spread the words of our LORD and SAVIOR. Jesus will help us reach the unbelievers through the HOLY SPIRIT and HE will guide us to what we are to say and do so that we can bring these people to CHRIST and hopefully show them the love that we have for JESUS! ”

“We are not to be partners with the unsaved because they don't have the same standards as us. We are PARTNERS with GOD and His body. BUT we need to go into dark places as God leads and show them Jesus!”

edwin joseph posted Best Evil Weapon For Man. (Sep 09, 2009)

“I've heard so many testimonies and seen a lot of lives and relationships destroy because of this. Though we all know that we should not be bound together with unbelievers, many christians still disregard this law. I guess one of the main weakness of every person is love. So we need to learn how to follow God not our emotions alone :-) But ofcourse you can share your faith to your suitors but don't ever engage on relationship which you both have different views and perspective about GOd”

Ribbons The Clown & Company, Inc. posted YOU are the Righteousness of God. (Aug 29, 2009)

“You are the Righteousness of God. That means you are in right standing with God. You have certain rights and responsibility. If you partner with someone who is not saved you are bringing the devils influences into your life. They will bring the worlds way of thinking instead of Gods way of thinking and doing things. There will be strife and every evil thing. Now if you are already business partners pray and ask God how to get out of it. IF you are married to someone who is not saved, Pray for THEM, Pray in tongues for the answer how to get them saved. Walk in love, become the person God created you to be. Honor your spouse. You can win them over because of your connection to God. BUT if you are not married yet, Don't marry a unbeliever, instead pray for their salvation.”

Irma Karl posted unequally yoked. (Aug 23, 2009)

“Wow this verse really puts it into perspective- but today, it is getting harder to totally isolate oneself from unbelievers or from those who claim to be Christians and act as unbelievers- the matter of the fact is that we need to be the light of the world, because now more than ever, people need to see Christ in us- they need to want what we have- and we just need to love the Lord and continue with our life, all while not falling to the level of the unbelievers- We can only do that through Jesus- through the gofts of the Holy Spirit- and through a very intimate walk with God- who will use us at no cost to us. It is possible and very necessary to think about expanding Gods kingdom to those who need him, and forego our own ego and rely on the power of prayer and fellowship with other believers- to fuel our fore for the Lord!!! Thanks TANGLE for giving us that venue.”

rachel altfeld posted The Destructive Tool. (Aug 14, 2009)

“This one hits a little to close home for me because i can say, from very hurtful personal experience, that's it's not the wild ride you want to be on. the enemy is looking for any opportunity to hurt us and to be destructive. Just be careful and be faithful to your God, and let Him pick your mate and other important people who are supposed to be in your life and lead you... I'm convinced it is then that one will find pure joy. ”
