John 2:11
John2:1 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there;John2:2 and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.John2:3 When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.”John2:4 And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come.”John2:5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”John2:6 Now there were six stone waterpots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing twenty or thirty gallons each.John2:7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim.John2:8 And He said to them, “Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.” So they took it to him.John2:9 When the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom,John2:10 and said to him, “Every man serves the good wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.”11 This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him. John2:12 After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples; and they stayed there a few days.John2:13 The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.John2:14 And He found in the temple those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables.John2:15 And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables;John2:16 and to those who were selling the doves He said, “Take these things away; stop making My Father’s house a place of business.”John2:17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “ZEAL FOR YOUR HOUSE WILL CONSUME ME .”John2:18 The Jews then said to Him, “What sign do You show us as your authority for doing these things?”John2:19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”John2:20 The Jews then said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”John2:21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body.John2:22 So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.John2:23 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, observing His signs which He was doing.John2:24 But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men,John2:25 and because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in man.

“Jesus still does signs today THROUGH YOU. He wants people to know He is alive. God gave us His word so we could live like Heaven on earth. But there are many things that stop Gods word from working in our lives.

“I believe if Jesus were to turn the water into wine in today's time it would start an uproar in the religious world as well as in the secular world. I can hear the religious people passing judgement as well as the secular world. They both would probably marvel at the miracle but at the same time claim that He was not from God because he helped supply wine for a party. ”

“We find it easy to walk in the faith when everything around us is fine! But time comes when the testing of our commitment to our faith comes in our daily life;what do we resort to doing-compromise!We may want to get the easier path to go around the problem i.e divorce during marriage problems, backsliding when you lose a good testimony for yourself, drunkardness and drugs to console during frustration...But the bottom line is Jesus Christ who is a Sure Foundation. When everthing has given way just keep your feet on Him because He is the tested Foundation that cant be shaken; He will lift you up through the storm.God bless you,Ejobi Joseph”

Irma Karl posted He is Alive!!!. (Aug 27, 2009)

“This verse reminds me that Jesus took every opportunity in everyday life to do his Fathers will- simply to show that God wanted to bless us- in this case, with abundance- simple as that!!! Jesus did not selfishly wait for the right or opportune time to show his miracles, and when he performed miracles, all were able to see- believers and unbelivers as well- The important thing is that these miracles did not stop- they have been ongoing from the beginning of time- in our Christian history- the Old Testament in full of examples, and today some marvel and say that miracles are manifesting themselves- the great thing is that Gods miracles have always been around to remind us that God IS with us, for us and in us. He is there for the belivers to remind us "here I am", and for the unbelivers also to give them a chance to believe. The important thing to me, is just like we feel in time of a crisis, its not simply seeing , feeling, and getting through it with a resolution, it is knowing that we are not alone and that we have someone on our side- no matter what. ”

Rev. Robin E. Bremer posted Why was it the First Sign, I asked Jesus. (Aug 26, 2009)

“I ponder over this and asked Jesus why it was His FIRST sign. This is what He said," The most important thing my BODY the church needs is to allow me to turn the Holy Spirit water into Holy Spirit WINE for these end times. The JOY of the Lord is your STRENGTH. The church my body needs strength to come VICTORIOUSLY though the last days, to bring revival and awaken to the land.My Body is to manifest My glory everywhere they go."”
