- I'm 26, I love God, I love Texas, I have a semi-useful degree in child psychology and religious studies. God showed by this year that its possible to do anything with Him by your side. And that no matter how horrible or tragic something may seem in life, it can always be turned around and used to glorify God. I was raped, had a beautiful perfect baby girl, fell in love with her, and placed her for adoption with a great family that loves her dearly. I get updates every 6 months on her and she is growing and very happy. God has done so much for so many people through all this. Im just a little piece in this huge beautiful puzzle now, that only makes sense looking back afterwards. I never planned my life to be this way, but it was never my life to begin with, it ws Gods. And now that it happened, I wouldnt have it any other way! I got to see life from a view most people never get to. I had never felt love before like I did after I had my daughter, its hard to even describe. I just wanted her to have the best of everything and to protect her from everything in this world as much as I could. It was the most painful day of my life, but also the most joyful day too, when I gave my daughter to here mom & dad. To see the look on their faces and the family all togetherI just knew God meant her to be with them all along. They had been praying for her since day one! There were a lot of weird and crazy twists and turns during it all. I got pre-eclampsia gained 100 pds total and swelled 20 pds in 2 days before emergency induced labor. She had a false alarm illness, after 15 days, I suppressed the rape and pregnancy until the 7th month, and a lot of other stuff that all connected together in the end. Now I am involved in the ministry to birth mothers after adoption. There was a great need for these women that Iwas blessed to become aware of. And also a huge need to spread adoption awareness to other women. Out of all unplanned pregnancies only 2% choose adoption. The others choose to raise the child or abortion. And sadly the abortion percentage is rising.
