"Come What May" is a movie made for "such a time as this." We didn't plan it this way. God did. Let me tell you the story of how God got us started...

It begins with a question many people ask us: "HOW DID YOU GET THE MONEY TO MAKE A MOVIE?"

We believe that God wants "Christ-centered" movies to be made differently than previous generations had done before, whether they are Christian filmmakers or not.

To fund a movie, you can take out a BIG loan, sell your house or several houses, or you find investors. Finding investor and getting them to invest is the hardest path of all. But it's the one the Lord led us to because He wanted us and the world to know He was making this movie.

When you raise investor funds for films, you must file a private placement offering, which has lots of rules and restrictions. Following those rules is the easy part. The hard part is finding investors who are deemed to be "accredited" by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Most investment offerings have a ratio of 20:1 or 30:1. In other words, out of 20 or 30 people interested, only 1 will actually invest.

Between March and June 2007, Advent Film Group had an investment ratio of 1:1 amongst a dozen "accredited" investors--

Everyone said "yes" almost immediately.

That investment ratio is unparalleled for any industry, let alone films. The entire production was paid for in a matter of months, with no wasted time on bad leads. It was the Lord telling us in a powerful way that He wants this work to move forward quickly.

And so by July 9, cameras were rolling on our first feature film--fully funded and ready to break into the expensive world of feature film production without a single penny of debt. For some reason God has chosen to uniquely bless our small beginnings, and give us the resources to make a movie for His glory.

We are needless to say, very excited to see what God is doing here, and have much reason to have great expectations for the future. Though no one would expect a blockbuster film to come out of our first attempt at a micro-budget film, we have continually seen him at work at every stage in this production, guiding the right people into exactly the right places at the right time over and over again.

And we expect more of that, not because we are so good (though we have worked very hard with some very skilled people), but because God is thoroughly faithful to those He calls, and we believe that He desires to bless His people through filmmakers that He is raising up.

That is why we are so excited -we see God at work here so dynamically. God is ultimately the one who gives success and failure, and we want our viewers to know that everything we are doing at Advent is done because He has brought us together to begin this great work in our culture. And we want to give Him all the glory for that forever and ever. . .

A movie that presents foundational morals will go a long way to motivate others to, 'Do the Right Thing.' I was impressed by the fact that home schooled families had such a huge part in the making of this movie. I look forward to seeing the impact it has on others as God works.

Amazing! Can't wait to see it on the movie screen. Already planning to show it to our homeschool teen group. I'm thankful that God has called you for such a time as this. Can't wait to share it with others. Keep up the great work for Him!
