The 40th Annual Gospel Music Association Awards, most commonly known as the GMA Dove Awards, will air live on Thursday, April 23 at 8 pm et, only on Gospel Music Channel. Gospel music's biggest night of the year features artists from every style of gospel/Christian music coming together for a night of music and celebration.2009 marks the first time in history fans will help decide the winners of two key award categories: Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year! Votes must be submitted between February 26 and April 23, 2009.
