I?ve always known my life didn?t belong to me. I felt I had a purpose, or a mission, to fulfill in this life.
But what was it?! When I was 6 years old, my world was turned upside down when my parents divorced and my father remarried.
I came from a family of 8 and I was in the youngest position, you know, the care free youngest who was the center of attention. But after 5 years of enjoying the stage here came this 11.5 pound baby boy who stole everyone?s heart and I hated him. I felt nonexistent to the world. I felt like no one heard me, that what I had to say was the most ridiculous nonsense and yet I felt I had the most important message to bring to mankind.
There was something inside of me that new there was this big thing that I had to do . My father was the one who showed us any form of affection, then he was completely gone. I felt abandoned, left to fend for myself from 6 other siblings who had there own stuff to deal with.
But when my mom packed us all up to go to her hometown in Texas, this is where I met the purpose. The one who wrote the mission for my life. My mom met Jesus and so did I .
I new this was it!!!!!! Jesus was it! The One! This is where the training began.
Oh wow I don?t know where to go from here. At 14 I fought depression. I sat on my bed and said God if what they say at church is true then You can heal me! He did!!!! I've always had this drive to bring people together for a great cause!! To help others feel excepted and loved. So after that experience with God that day I loved people with such a deepness I can?t explain. I felt like I could feel hurt for others or hope that had been buried underneath the rubble of the war zones of life. And I just wanted to help them!
So what we aim to accomplish here at Hess Ministries is simply this... Ok get ready, hold on to your seats!! Help others! You see, Jesus went around doing good, we model our ministry after the one and only JESUS CHRIST!!! His love for You and for Me. I can?t explain. I just have to do something good, something that says thank You my God for hearing me! Saving me!
