Immanuel has been at 1241 Cypress Street in Abilene, Texas for many years but recently we have acquired a new heart and a new understanding that Immanuel needs to be a church for our neighborhood.We believe that the only way we can become a church for this community is by seeking the needs of it. We no longer want to be a church simply for ourselves, but for the area that Jesus Christ placed us in.

We invite you to check us out, our beliefs are still deeply rooted in the scriptures; we believe God's word should be simple, and the members of the church should be real. The contemporary style music and the casual come as you are atmosphere, allows us to freely worship God as the Holy Spirit leads. We are a church seeking to spread the word of God in our community and allow the Holy Spirit to send the workers for the task ahead. We can't frill you with a country club atmosphere but we believe that God will bless us when we become real with each other and this community.
