Hey there, welcome to tangle. We've made some exciting changes to our site so take some time to explore and surf around. Invite some friends and you'll begin to experience a deeper level of interaction with those in your life than you ever have before.

I'm Jason Illian, CEO of tangle, and I'm writing to announce the arrival of our long-anticipated new site! The hinting, the hard work, the Red Bulls and coffee and your valuable feedback has culminated in the launch of our inspirational new site, tangle.com. So, why the change? Well, to start with, you wanted more tools and we wanted to give them to you. We understand that in order to take God's Word to the ends of the earth you need some electronic arms. And I'm thrilled to say that the tools are here and ready for your daily use! In addition to sharing videos, tanglers - our new name for our loyal users - can now connect and share their lives with others through photos, audio, blogs, prayers, music, the Bible and so much more. With all these new additions to the site, you have the potential to reach more hearts for Christ than at any other time in history!

 
 

So what's up with the new name? After much discussion, thought, prayer and your valuable feedback, we determined that having a fresh, new identity would allow us to expand our vision and reach even more people for Christ. We recognized that our new name had to represent everything we stand for and believe in, but that it would also have to reflect our new tools and functionality. We wanted our new name to be a welcoming change, something that would represent Christ and not just one religious affiliation, giving everyone the opportunity to connect, share and grow online. Most importantly, we wanted our name to represent YOU - and all that can be changed when you wrap your faith around it.

The source of our new vision stems directly from the Bible: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) This passage reminds us that even though we are different branches, we share one common purpose: to abide in the Lord and to bear much fruit. With a name like tangle, we can obey Christ's command to become intertwined with community and faith while constantly branching out into the world.

 
 

So what does all this mean for you? Simply stated - just keep doing what you're doing. If you have a knack for writing, post your thoughts in a blog. If you're a photographer with a skill for capturing amazing moments on film, share those moments and inspire other would-be photographers. Got a gift for singing? Playing the piano? Coaching little league? You can have an impact on others no matter what your gifts may be. Share them and others will undoubtedly be inspired, encouraged, brought to laughter and possibly tears, moved in ways you might never imagine.
