Good morning everybody and welcome to a new month. August is here, and with it the official dog days of summer. Although these are the offical dog days of summer, I think we're doing better than the VBS week of camp. We have 90's for the next couple of weeks, but so far no heat advisories. This is a good thing because we're headed out to disc golf today.

Thank you to the three people who viewed my blurb on MySpace this past week, you support is appreciated. I was talking to my brother yesterday and he told me he was in a YouTube video. I said I've been in hundreds, but not many people watch them. He said I need to get an audience by writing a blog. I said I write a blurb, but only a few people read it. He said I need to market it better.

Finally, Fr. Blauvelt has posted a blurb! After six weeks, Fr. Blauvelt's Blurb is back. If you have been a regular reader of my blurb, you would know that it takes around six times of doing something to form a habit, and thus in order to be sure I did not get in the habit again of not posting, I needed to post today.

Well, the idea of forming a habit of doing this blurb is going to have to start over. I made it several weeks, but at Cinco de Mayo it became Tuesday Tidbits, and then I missed the last two weeks.
